Erick Pimentel

Regarding my professional profile, at the end of high school, I was approved into three public colleges/universities in Computer Engineering. I was approved at the University of Pernambuco, at the Federal University of Pernambuco, and at the Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology of Paraíba. I currently have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering completed at the Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology of Paraíba, with an 87.80 coefficient, which means a 3.5 GPA (Grade Point Average) or a B+. During the period of one year I worked on the development of a Scientific Initiation Project entitled “Evaluation of the efficiency of the football betting market using machine learning”, at the same time, during the same year, I worked at Ford Motor Company Ltd as an Android Developer collaborating with the North American team (participating in daily and weekly meetings in English). At Ford, I worked on the development of the FordPass Performance app for Android Smartphones and Android Auto (which is an app for Off-Road Navigation). Also, I presented my Final Paper entitled “Hardware and software architecture for residential remote sensing and control system” and got the maximum grade.

Ford Motor Company

I worked in collaboration with the North American Team (participating in daily and weekly meetings in English) in the development of the FordPass Performance product, which is an application for Android Smartphones and Android Auto, natively developed in Kotlin for off-road navigation. The app provides detailed telemetry data that is then displayed in an overlay of the trail footage that is captured on a smartphone and it offers a number of useful tools, including access to thousands of pre-loaded off-road maps.
