Since graduating from Chemical Engineering, I have been passionate about Food and Beverages. In this industry segment, I have been able to transform inedible material (ingredients) into satiety, pleasure, nutrition, and health. That’s my motivation. This magic occurred through people, knowledge, assets, and resources, solving problems, building relationships, achieving results, and leveraging my customers.

I am a hands-on executive with extensive experience in Business, RD&A, Product and Process Innovation, Industrial environments, and Operations. I am also adept at handling processes such as M&A, production outsourcing, and technology transfer, among others. I take pride in my ability to attract, develop, and retain outstanding personnel who are committed to the corporate vision, mission, and objectives.

My expertise in RD&A has enabled me to innovate, optimize, and reformulate products and processes within various categories such as bakery, confectionery, fondant, sweets, cereals, powdered desserts and beverages, toppings, fillings and glazes, blend systems, and Health & Wellbeing ingredients. Additionally, I have led projects in dairy, fat-filled dairy, flavored dairy, powdered caseinates, analogue cheeses, savory sauces, powdered oils and fats, flavors, spray drying, agglomeration, extruded products, breadings, sprinkles, enrobed & panned products, ganache and chocolates, powder mixing, and liquid mixing. I am always open to new customers, continuous improvement, and learning.

In industrial management, I have demonstrated strong performance in areas like production, maintenance, PPC, engineering, operations, and quality. My efforts are centered on reducing accidents, achieving goals, reducing costs, and developing suppliers. I consistently support Quality Management with a focus on certifications, standard implementation, food safety, and continuous improvement.

Along with my capacity to set and attain challenging goals, I observe how people tackle daily challenges, think about ways to help them improve, and analyze disruptive solutions to create initiatives with positive impacts on people, organizations, and society.
