I'm a designer who graduated from UFRJ and for me, design is a tool to facilitate and improve people's lives. I'm 24 years old and started working with user experience 4 years ago. My knowledge and experience came from contact with wonderful professionals that I could meet in this short trajectory from college to the job market.

I had the opportunity to work at Ingresso.com, a company part of UOL - Universo Online and Grupo Folha, with over 20 years of experience selling tickets in Brazil, and currently, I'm a product designer at VTEX, the digital commerce platform for large companies.

Product Design Intern

I worked as an intern at Ingresso.com, my journey in the area of digital products started there. I had contact with great professionals that contributed to my formation as a person and a professional. 

I had the opportunity to work with agile methodologies, and to see in practice how it is to apply design frameworks, such as double diamond, in my day-to-day work. In addition, I had my first contact with the concept and application of the Design System, I could contribute a little in building the design library thought to meet all digital products of the company (Site, iOS and Android Applications, Self-service Horizontal and Vertical for B2C sales and Ticketing Software, Programming Generation Software, POS Mobile), standardize, maintain consistency between products and streamline the development and implementation of new features.

According to Emmet Connolly, director of product design at Intercom, “… most Design Systems are really just Pattern Libraries: a big box of UI Lego pieces that can be assembled in near-infinite ways. All the pieces may be consistent, but that doesn’t mean the assembled results will be. Your product is more than just a pile of reusable UI elements. It has structure and meaning. Product Designer

I work as a product designer at the Pricing & Promotions team, covering all the design stages, from research to solution for the problems discovered. Our team is responsible for two indispensable modules of the platform, product price registration and promotion configuration to be applied on the ecommerce products. 

On a daily basis, I work closely with the team's product manager to find ways to improve the user experience and evolve the product to better meet user needs. Through surveys with our customers, data extracted from the use of the platform and internal feedback acquired through the customer excellence team, we build more efficient solutions to make the merchant's job easier and more efficient when managing prices and promotions on our platform.I work as a product designer at the Pricing & Promotions team, covering all the design stages, from research to solution for the problems discovered.
