Rodrigo Lorey

Rodrigo Lorey is an Investment Banker Associate currently based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. 

Throughout his career in the financial market, he has provided financial advise to numerous companies and Private Equity (PE) funds in +25 Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and Equity Capital Markets (ECM) transactions, valued +R$ 10 billion. 

Rodrigo's experience includes positions at Santander Investment Banking, Rabobank's M&A advisory division, and UBS Equity Research, covering large corporate to middle market clients, advising and executing national and cross-border deals in a variety of sectors. He was able to develop relevant skills such as client relationships, corporate and financial modeling, valuation, marketing/business materials and presentations, and team management.

Rodrigo holds a B.A. in Mechatronic Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo (USP). He also spent a scholarship year at The Australian National University (ANU). 

Rodrigo has also worked as a volunteer on social projects in Brazil and Argentina.

I have had the privilege of working with prominent financial institutions over the past +5 years, including Santander Investment Banking, Rabobank, and UBS, handling various responsibilities by prioritizing my tasks, establishing clear deadlines and finding creative solutions. These roles have allowed me to gain exposure to a wide range of responsibilities, collaborating closely with C-level clients and delivering exceptional results. Through my tenure, I have honed my expertise in client and project management, financial modeling, valuation, marketing materials creation, due diligence, and contract negotiation.

I actively participated in +25 M&A and ECM deals, conducting in-depth financial analysis, preparing complex valuation models, and developing comprehensive marketing materials. I also played a pivotal role in coordinating due diligence processes, ensuring seamless execution and efficient deal closure. Working closely with senior management and clients, I gained valuable insights into the dynamics of the investment banking industry and developed strong client relationship management skills.
