Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field

• Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
• Experience researching and documenting support for accounting conclusionsAmazon is a fast paced, dynamic, high tech company.

The global accounting organization supports our financial reporting, internal control, intercompany, and transfer pricing activities and also supports new business launches globally for Amazon in the consumer products, initiatives, merchant, operations, logistics, payments, and cloud computing lines of business.
Key job responsibilities

• Manage the period end close process by ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all lease accounting entries and reconciliations.
• Manage key leased life cycle events
• Perform analytical review of lease related balances and provide balance sheet account movements to support cash flow reporting
• Drive projects, provide accounting guidance and often serve as first point of contact for finance and business partners to resolve issues.
• Ensure effective collaboration and influence across multiple organizations with partner teams and stakeholders.
