- Providing expertise and assistance on daily Operations & Procurement queries for consulting teams
- Collaborating with consultants and other global BCG Knowledge Teams to develop innovative proprietary tools
- Enhancing the Procurement content through research, data collection, and ensuring the relevance and accuracy of knowledge products
- Contributing actively to innovation initiatives to improve the overall offerings of our Operations / Procurement business line
- Demonstrating expertise in Operations processes within Industrial, Consumer Products, and/or Energy sectors, particularly in Procurement strategy, value delivery, and operating model
- Effectively communicating with case teams and clients in a credible and confident manner

- At least 1 year of consulting experience is essential, with relevant exposure to Operations/Procurement cases
- If lacking consulting experience, a minimum of 2 years in the industry focusing on Operations/Procurement is required
- Prior experience in Industrial Goods (such as Metals & Mining, Automotive, Petrochemicals, Agribusiness, etc), Consumer Products, and/or Energy sectors is necessary
- A Bachelor's Degree is a prerequisite (an advanced degree is advantageous)
- Proficiency in English is a must; knowledge of Spanish/Portuguese is beneficial
- Demonstrating strong business acumen and problem-solving skills
- Possessing excellent written and verbal communication abilities

As a Knowledge Analyst (KA) within BCG's Operations Practice Area, you will be part of a growing global team dedicated to providing specialized expertise and insights. Collaborating closely with BCG case and proposal teams, your role involves creating tailored knowledge assets and offering expert advice for diagnostics and live projects.
You will play a key role in supporting the business development activities of the Operations Practice Area in Latin America, contributing valuable research and analysis to marketing endeavors. In addition to your involvement in client cases, workshops, and proposals, you can expect some travel to work directly with clients on-site, gaining a deep understanding of their needs and crafting effective solutions.
Furthermore, you will contribute to enhancing the procurement business by developing both existing and new intellectual property and knowledge assets. In your capacity as a Knowledge Analyst, you will also play a part in onboarding, training, and mentoring junior team members, sharing insights and best practices within the team.
The Operations Practice Area is a pivotal part of BCG, supporting clients in boosting their performance and gaining a competitive edge through strategic capabilities. Within the Procurement Topic Area, you will join a network of experts who assist clients in various procurement-related cases, such as procurement strategy, digital transformation, and sustainable procurement, among others.
As a Knowledge Analyst focusing on the Operations Practice Area & Procurement business in Latin America, your main responsibilities include:

BCG's Knowledge Team members actively participate in cases, collaborating with case teams and clients to generate insights through expert perspectives on industry trends, proprietary data deliveries, or tool utilization within specific functions. They also support business development activities, contribute to proposals, and assist in organizing and structuring the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver exceptional value to clients.
