About the RoleThis position is to be part of the team that builds UberEats storefront screen.

As an android Engineer, you will build clear visual and spoken guidance systems to help users navigate stores efficiently and select items to order Contributes to the designs, develops, and maintains user interfaces and features for mobile applications (Android), leveraging the support and guidance of others on the team.

You'll be responsible for core shopping functionalities in UberEats app including the storefront screen.

At this role you will be working with Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists, and other Engineers to build new features and improve the experience for our users.

What You'll Do Experience in building consumer apps with global footprintExperience is analytics and using metrics to find issues in productionExperience in working closely with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Designers.

Experience in fixing production issuesWhat You'll NeedMinimum qualifications:3-months total software engineering experience gained through work, education, coursework, training, research or similar in mobile area.

Strong experience in either Kotlin and/or JavaKnowledge of data structures, algorithms, programming and associated programming languages and frameworks.
Demonstrates the ability to understand and translate requirements to system design.
Advanced English.
