    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Lead Compliance, Regulatory and Governance professional to join our dynamic team at Patria Group. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Patria Group's Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) programs, leading corporate governance matters, and overseeing legal and regulatory obligations. Additionally, you will support the integration of new business ventures and report directly to the Patria Group Global General Counsel.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage and oversee the Patria Group's Compliance and AML programs to ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
    • Lead corporate governance matters, including the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices.
    • Manage the organization's legal and regulatory obligations, including monitoring changes in relevant laws and regulations.
    • Oversee data protection laws and ensure the Patria Group's compliance with relevant data privacy regulations.
    • Support the integration of new business ventures, ensuring seamless compliance and governance integration.
    • Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to the Patria Group Global General Counsel on compliance, regulatory, and governance matters.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in compliance, regulatory, and governance roles, preferably in the financial services industry.
    • Qualified as an Advogado (lawyer) with a strong understanding of financial market and fund regulations, capital markets, and corporate governance.
    • Proficient in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Proven track record of leading compliance, regulatory, and governance initiatives in a complex, multi-jurisdictional environment, including Cayman, Uruguay, Chile, Brazil, and Colombia.
    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities.
    • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
