    What you will do:

    At EEVC (Electrical, Electronics and Vehicle Connectivity) you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large.

    As a Embedded Solutions & Electronics Engineer, you will be working in a Agile Culture environment, with hands-on testing with trucks and test rigs at your disposal
    Your daily activities will include but not be limited to:

    Develop Vehicle Embedded solutions tailored for Latin America application, based on Platform and local hardware technologies with embedded SW.

    Lead requirements with SW development centers in other sites to build a SW development plan according to project budget and timelines; Configure, tune, test the component to fulfil functional requirements; Develop the verification/validation plan of your component(s) in collaboration with Volvo Verification Engineers and also with suppliers - assuring comprehensive testing for high quality deliveries; Capture feedbacks with different stakeholders like Commercial Area, Aftermarket, Quality, Verification, Field Test, proposing improvement on existing embedded solutions; Releasing drawings, technical regulations, HW components, SW components during different stages of design; Being the gatekeeper of high Quality Vehicle Embedded Solutions in front of our customers Your future team: As part of an Agile Team, you ́ll be immersed in a dynamic work environment, delivering Embedded SW solutions for Volvo Transport Systems.

    Your main interfaces will be Electronics, SW Development and SW Verification Engineers from sites from all over the world, such as Sweden, France, India...

    In this role, you will bring:
    Applicants shall have Engineering degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Systems, or similar.

    Experience in projects of solutions with HW/embedded software, preferably from the automotive industry; Good proficiency level of English, both written and spoken; Excellent communication skills and thrive in cooperation with others.

    Knowledge of LIN, CAN, and Ethernet communication; International and multi-cultural experience with aglobal organization; Meritorious to have: Knowledge of truck electrical architecture; Vehicle or automotive experience, possibly truck-driving license; Experience with JIRA, Confluence, power BI and requirement tools; Experience with Vector toolchain and especially CANalyzer and CANoe; Good knowledge of software programming languages like C# and Python; Experience of control systems with Arduino; Ready for the next move?
