We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our development team.The ideal candidate has broad and deep technical knowledge and experience to improve application performance, capacity benchmarking, improve availability and reliability, design and evolve cloud/infrastructure architecture, and leverage engineering solutions to solve operational problems.
Responsibilities:
Development:
Write clean and modular code for Magento-based applications, custom modules, and extensions, ensuring high-quality solutions
Mirakl Integration:
Implement and customize Mirakl integration features, including data synchronization, order processing, and seamless communication between Magento and Mirakl
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, designers, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions
Customization:
Customize Magento themes and templates to meet specific business requirements, ensuring a consistent and visually appealing user experience
Testing:
Conduct thorough testing of developed modules and features to ensure functionality, performance, and security
Troubleshooting:
Identify and resolve technical issues related to Magento and Mirakl integration, providing support to resolve production issues
Documentation:
Prepare technical documentation for code, modules, and integration processes.
Analysis
:
Gather and analyze metrics from operating systems as well as applications to assist in performance tuning and proactive fault-findingPerformance:
Measure and optimize system performance, to push our capabilities forward, get ahead of customer needs, and innovate for continual improvementSupport:
Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large-scale distributed software applicationsPartner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures.
Balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service-level objectivesCollaborate with Adobe Commerce cloud Customer support engineer and customer support manager, to resolve environment issues, and document the learnings.
Keeping all stakeholders updated about the issue progress, RCA, and best practices to avoid these issues in the future.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Magento Developer with a focus on e-commerce solutions.
Familiarity with Mirakl marketplace integration and experience working with Mirakl APIs.
Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
Experience with version control systems (Git), build tools, and deployment pipelines.
Strong understanding of Magento architecture, best practices, and customization techniques.
Knowledge of web standards, performance optimization, and security best practices.
Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Developing and maintaining the system and its services.
Automating the deployment process, ensuring system scaling, investigating, and resolving outdates,identifying and implementing preventive measures proactivelyA Site Reliability Engineer can expect to spend time fixing support escalation cases.
