We are looking for a Senior Technical Analyst - Tax, who will be responsible to drive innovation in tax-related processes and technology. This role will work closely to integrate technology solutions within the tax area, ensuring alignment of tax systems with business processes. The professional will work closely with technical teams to deliver tax implementations integrating with Oracle EBS and boundary systems, compliance tax reporting, and E-Invoicing, ensuring software systems are running efficiently with minimal downtime.

Should have: an acumen for data analytics, data management and data driven processes, including the evolving data management, driving efficiencies to create solutions and functions that provide data integrity to support the tax business functions. Also will provide configuration, set up, and updating of the applications, ensuring that data is entered into established tables, fields, and system databases with the highest level of accuracy.

Work closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand business processes, workflows, data models, and other system artifacts. The role will identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements, and will be responsible for developing functional and technical specifications that define system requirements and align solutions with business objectives. The professional should have knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies, strong understanding of system testing and quality assurance principles, and the ability to plan and execute testing to ensure that new or modified systems meet business requirements.

Responsibilities:

· Provide support for software-as-a-service (SaaS) and enterprise-wide applications by developing and identifying design considerations and business impacts needed for configuration;

· Ensure accessibility of data for internal department planning and activities;

· Perform advanced configuration, setup, and updating of applications;

· Load data into established tables, fields, and system databases;

· Define governance standards and processes for data input, structures, and storage mechanisms;

· Build and produce reports that facilitate business management and staff decisions;

· Set up user access and train users on the applications;

· Recommend changes in applications development, maintenance, and system standards;

· Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams within the organization, to ensure the integration and interoperability of enterprise-wide systems;

· Liaise with client stakeholders and external vendors to provide necessary support for enterprise-wide applications;

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Accounting/Finance;

· At least 7 years of experience in enterprise-wide software support;

· Language Skills: Portuguese, English (Advanced)

Preferred:

· Master's degree in Accounting, Tax, Computer Science, or related field, with a minimum of 5 years' experience implementing tax technologies and finance with big four (CPA) companies.

· Certifications in ITIL, Microsoft, and/or Oracle, ONESOURCE

Knowledge & Experience:

· 4-6 years of experience in enterprise-wide software support with in-depth knowledge of software development methodologies;

· In-depth knowledge of enterprise-wide applications and software platforms;

· Experience with software-as-a-service (SaaS) and enterprise-wide systems;

· Experience in configuring and setting up various enterprise-wide applications;

· Experience applying security designs and principles to technology-based business solutions;

· Experience in database management and maintenance;

· Ability to develop custom queries using query and reporting tools;

· Knowledge of data management best practices and quality control processes;

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

· International Indirect Tax vendor implementations and configurations.

· Experience implementing large, multidisciplinary projects with ERP systems co-integrated with vendor solution indirect tax systems(ONESOURCE, MasterSAF/DFE, Tax One).

· A broad understanding of tax accounting and major tax processes.
