    Job Overview

    TE Connectivity's Program Management Teams are responsible for leading a cross functional team to deliver major customer programs within budget and time limitations in accordance with technical specifications and profit objectives. They manage customer programs (customized engineered solutions for particular end customer platforms) from bid preparation through production. Their duties include: developing budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements; assembling cross-functional program teams with members from engineering, procurement, sales, production, materials management and quality; serving as the main point of contact for the customer for all negotiations, decision making, scheduling issues, and problem solving throughout the program; monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met; and arranging modifications as required.

    Responsibilities

  • Achieve On-Time Delivery performance objectives and report out progress to global stakeholders.
  • Manage project scheduling and gap closure requirements as needed. Manage customer escalations if needed
  • Audit baseline project schedules for all projects. Hold Project Managers, core teams accountable to schedule and deliverables on a global level.
  • Manage capital expenditures and project budgets & track lessons learned and manage best practices, ensure global alignment cooperation
  • Ensure compliance with Product Lifecycle tools and procedures. Accountability for all strategies, initiatives, processes, activities, and results within the program scope
  • Be the go-to person for all customer requests and complaints, provide immediate feedback on specific customer queries having aligned with the global project teams.
  • Resolve project conflicts and establish escalation path on all projects within the program assignment. Report out on project status as needed to a senior level global management community
  • Ensure project closeout meetings and post launch reviews are conducted.
  • Clearly communicate roles, expectations, and accountabilities to all team members on a regular basis.
  • Competencies and Skills Required


    • Bachelor's / Master's degree or equivalent with technical background Years of experience in the management of complex projects

    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in customer facing functions

    • Experience in the automotive sector considered beneficial.

    • Experienced in dealing with partners and cultures around the globe
