Sets up, installs and maintains the software environments for any product permutation

What will your job look like?

  • You will configure, install and upgrade environments (e.g. standalone, integrated, clustered) throughout the product life cycle (Development, Testing, UAT, Production) for internal and external users, eventually on the Cloud.
  • You will apply Hot Fixes in application or database level.
  • You will provision servers using VMware, OpenStack or similar tools.
  • You will be working with Jenkins tool to automate the regular tasks from Developers and Testers.
  • You will configure the 3rd party software (such as Java, WL, Maven, Nexus) in the different types of supported environments in conjunction with development teams.
  • You will perform files transfer between offshore and onsite servers.
  • You will work with different units to provide software delivery from compilation to runtime (in simple and complex environments).

    Education

    Required: Bachelor's degree

  • Preferred: In Engineering, Science/IT/Computers
  • Advanced English


    • Professional Experience

    Required skills to successfully perform the role:

  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux Server platform
  • Knowledge of SQL and Oracle database or similar
  • Familiar with Shell Scripting and Automation
  • Familiar with Cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure (advantage)
