What you will be doing With a global network of production and logistics partners, operational excellence is at the core of how Gelato delivers value to its customers. As Operations Support Specialist, you will help Gelato to grow, develop and reimagine its global operations. As part of the operations team, you will work on multiple tasks at a fast pace, engaging directly with our print partners and our engineering teams to make short fixes and long term process improvement recommendations. This is a hands-on role where you need to be able to both dive deep and solve partner escalations and zoom out to work with data and identify root cause solutions using technology. Some key responsibilities of the role include Working directly with our print and logistics partners to identify real-time issues and help troubleshoot them for speedy resolution Monitoring the health of key operational metrics, proactively working with partners as well as other Gelato teams such as customer service to respond to any operational issues Onboarding new print partners, helping them to be successful with Gelato Analyzing the needs of our partners and the business using data, and working cross functionally with our engineering team to implement solutions that scale. Who you are In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a start-up mentality, experience in Customer or Client Service and enjoy working with data. The ideal candidate is a hands-on customer-obsessed problem solver, who wants to exceed expectations, is eager to learn and improve. You are comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders, able to articulate complex concepts and not afraid to challenge the status quo. More than that we would like to see evidence of the following in your profile University degree, or in lieu of degree, 5 years of relevant experience in operations or customer service Ability to adapt, change and grow quickly as we build the organization. Excellent organizational and time management skills with great attention to detail. Strong client-facing and communication skills. An entrepreneurial mindset that allows you to find new solutions to issues that arise.
