Job summary

The Logistics Analyst Senior will be responsible for supporting the supply chain, storage, and billing routines of the plant. The primary role includes attending and improving the flows of receipt, movement, and shipment of materials, including the preparation of procedures for the area. The professional will also be responsible for implementing and effectively monitoring the cyclic and inventory audits, with attention to external audits. Support the team and direct activities in the sector aiming at the optimization of work routines. Seek opportunities for 'savings' and improvements in processes. This professional is an active interface with the areas of Costs, Production, Planning, and Quality.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the correct flow of receipt, storage, and shipment of materials, ensuring the accuracy of the stock.
  • Implement and monitor cyclic inventories and external audits, ensuring compliance with the company's standards.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and safety within the logistics sector.
  • Ensure that logistics processes follow rigorously the FIFO/FEFO and material addressing controls.
  • Work in partnership with the areas of Purchasing, Costs, Production, and Planning to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Generate reports on consumption, losses, transfers, and logistics performance indicators.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.
  • Offer technical support and direction to the Logistics team.
