Macher Tecnologia is recruiting one hands-on Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to support one of its clients developing software technologies for the transportation industry.

As the work will be performed globally, English (business / fluent) is a must-have. The selected professional will join us at the client's office in Caxias do Sul. This is an on-site position only. Only candidates from this location will be considered.

This Senior QA Engineer position will be responsible for leading the quality and reliability of our client's cutting-edge mobile video management applications for Transit.

Responsibilities:

Test Development:
Craft detailed, comprehensive test plans and cases.

Automation:
Implement tests using automated tools to enhance efficiency.

Defect Tracking:
Document bugs and collaborate with developers for resolutions.

Performance Testing:
Execute system-level testing for reliability and scalability.

Security Assurance:
Assess and improve system security measures.

Documentation:
Maintain precise records of testing phases and defects.

Process Improvement:
Continually refine QA processes and methodologies


Required Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent.
Experience: 7+ years in QA, with a focus on video management systems.

Skills:
o Mastery of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, RTSP). o Network configuration and troubleshooJng for video streaming. o Network security, VPNs, and firewall configurations. o Proficient in Automated Testing tools like Selenium, Appium, or custom frameworks. o Scripting for automation in Python, JavaScript, or Bash.


o Performance & Security Testing:
o Familiar with tools like JMeter or LoadRunner. o Knowledge of security testing practices and tools. o Settinng up E2E test environments including software applications and hardware e.g. cameras, DVRs, and networking equipment.

o Troubleshooting and isolating issues across Hardware and Software Preferred Qualifications:
o Experience with complex networks for video systems. o Mentorship of junior engineers in advanced testing techniques What We Offer?
