Macher Tecnologia is recruiting one hands-on one Senior PHP Developer to support one of its clients on modernizing PHP applications.

As the work will be performed globally, English (business / fluent) is a must-have. The selected professional will join the client directly, as a contractor, on a remote setting.


What you will be doing:
Working with a global team of developers on the applications, API's and Web/Rest services.
Creating new modules and applications along with maintaining the existing applications and legacy systems.
Database updates and queries to generate reports.
Working in a very agile way more along the lines of Kanban than traditional sprints.
Ability to release your own code and regression test what has been done.
Estimate of features, enhancements, and bugs.
Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Modernizing a large set of the systems from older versions of PHP to newer ones.
Be able to solve complex problems from the customer in an efficient manner. Can write both front-end code and back-end code utilizing JavaScript and PHP.
