As a Windows/OS Engineer, you will be at the forefront of managing and maintaining the enterprise Windows server environment that forms the backbone of our company's IT infrastructure.

• Install, configure, test, and maintain Windows server operating systems, software, and system management tools.
• Ensure high levels of system and infrastructure availability.
• Monitor and test system performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support.
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
• Ensure that all systems are backed up and can be restored in case of data loss or system failure.
• Keep the organization's data secure from unauthorized access and malicious threats or attacks.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windowsbased environments.
• Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks (e.g.,IIS, .NET, MSSQL).
• Strong knowledge of virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box).
• Experience with monitoring systems.
• Experience with automation software (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS).
• Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or equivalent.

• Familiarity with Windows-specific services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Exchange.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools.
• Knowledge of security best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.

• Proficiency with systems and server software and tools such as Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, PowerShell, and Microsoft System Center.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery software and backup systems.
• Familiarity with patch management tools.
• Experience with configuration management platforms (Puppet, Chef, Ansible).
• Understanding of network management and analysis tools.
