International Opportunity - Position is based in Dubai This is a key role within SC/Procurement function that is reporting directly to the Group Procurement Director


Purpose:
To develop and implement strategies to maintain operational excellence across all manufacturing sites through internal and external collaboration, diversifying sourcing, cost savings, and ensuring risk management


Key responsibilities:
Execute strategic sourcing strategies, contract management, value creation and sustainability activities Market analysis through first round negotiations, including RFPs and supplier qualification for raw materials and packaging Lead the implementation process for raw material innovations Drive the innovation agenda of the supplier relationship management program with strategic suppliers Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements Negotiate Contracts according to group guidelines in terms of quality, price and payment terms with different suppliers in coordination with the management and legal advisors Procurement metrics, dashboards, reporting Planning & Forecast Continuous improvement on suppliers' payment terms Key requirements:Able and willing to relocate to Dubai Bachelor's degree as a minimum Arabic or/and European language(s) is highly desirable 8+ years' experience in a Procurement role in a large Food Production/Flexibles/Packaging business Exposure to Sub-Saharan Africa region is desirable Understanding the intricacies of Supply Chain/Procurement function Strong analytical and decision-making skills;proven ability to challenge the current Ability to influence the decision makers Able to deal with ambiguity and lack of clear structure Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on capacity Advanced Word/Excel/PP skills
