    About the job

    The Red Hat Operations team is looking for an Ecosystems Operations Partner, leading and supporting the global cloud partner team, sitting within Red Hat's Go-To Market Finance & Operations organization.

    In this role, you will support the Global Cloud Partners Leader through managing and informing the processes and systems that contribute to / increase indirect sales bookings, sell-with bookings and ecosystem single-source-of-truth reporting and analytics. You will provide operational and financial support to deliver scalable, best practices and provide a platform for the Ecosystem team to promote both revenue growth as well as build a world class Partner Ecosystem.

    As a Sales Operations Analyst, you will communicate and present to senior leadership by providing insights and recommendations that will allow for effective and actionable decision making. In addition, you will assess partner performance improvements aligned with strategic initiatives across all routes. You will also support Red Hat procedures, processes and best practice related to Ecosystem sales operations activities and deliver key messages to the Ecosystem and Sales teams in relation to Ecosystem Operations practice.

    What you will do

  • Responsible for leading and execution of global Ecosystem in year and long term strategic planning activities
  • Be a trusted Operations Partner for the Global Cloud Partner Leader on all matters regarding sales operations, reporting, forecasting, planning, analytics and insights
  • Be the subject matter expert to ensure operations, processes and systems scale and are fit for purpose for the Geo Ecosystem requirements
  • Partner with the business to inform the partner coverage model. Connect with planning teams on the agreed coverage model prior to TQM and planning. Communicate any changes and advise on operational impact.
  • Ensure consistent in-Geo awareness, execution and strong governance of key Ecosystem Operations processes such as EVF Sell-With, PRM and Red Hat Sales Cloud (RHSC).
  • Evaluate and analyze Geo managed partner success/trends and make recommendations on improved partner performance.
  • Partner with the Ecosystem consolidation team on QBR/analytics, and lead delivery of the analytics and insights for the Geo Ecosystem QBRs.
  • Collaborate and champion across the Finance and Operations team including Business Operations, Accounting, Deal Desk, Sales Incentives as well as Legal and Marketing, as required, providing feedback and requirements for your Geo Ecosystem Operations as well as keeping the Geo Ecosystem Leadership and Ecosystem Operations Leadership teams informed and consulted.
  • Ensure compliance and ethics standards as this role may come into contact with confidential or sensitive customer information requiring special treatment in accordance with Red Hat policies and applicable privacy laws
  • What you will bring

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business, finance, economics, or relevant experience
  • Proficient English written and verbal communications skills.
  • 3+ years of advanced experience working within sales planning / operations, finance, business consulting, strategy and a proven record of success partnering cross-functionally across a global team. Experience in the field is a bonus.
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills with proven experience handling large, complex data sets, conducting analysis, and building financial models with sensitivity analysis
  • Strong presentation skills, with experience presenting to senior-level stakeholders
  • Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills in a rapidly changing environment
  • Experience interacting with sales leaderships and establishing credibility as a strategic partner.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritizing tasks and organizing work to meet goals and reach expectations
  • Project management, change management, and transformation experience in a large global environment, working across data, process, and technology.
  • Experience with Anaplan or a similar planning/modeling tool (recommended, but not required)
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning (recommended, but not required)
