The ideal candidate will have minimum of 8 years' experience in leading the design development of innovative structural designs for complex geometry roofs, facades and cantilevering elements.

Lead structural design development of high end luxury villas and hotelsCollaborate on a daily basis with the internal design office, Client's representatives, local designers and third party consultantsProvide leadership and, if needed, mentorship to the internal design office and local designers, advising most cost efficient, modern and optimal structural design methods and practicesEnsure seamless integration of the initial design intentOversee designer's, consultants and contractor's work and review their design submissionsLead in the creation and maintenance of a corporate design guideline for the structural aspect, which will ensure alignment with employer requirements on a company levelRequirementsGraduated civil engineer with a bachelor degree in structural engineering6 years minimum of structural design development2 years minimum in a position of senior engineer or team leaderComplex steel structure design experience like roofs, canopies, facades, long-span structures etcAt least two completed complex construction projects from concept adaptation stage to the completionApplied knowledge of Tekla or other structural modelling and calculations software, Revit compatible is preferableApplied knowledge of Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and NavisworksProfessional level of English (C1) and Spanish/PortugueseConsidered as an advantage:experience in bionic, generative patterns, parametric and computational designBenefitsSalary and benefits are competitive and based on candidate experience.
