    Job Description:

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all rooms assigned to room attendants in his/her section of the hotel are consistently clean and well-maintained.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Inspect all rooms assigned to room attendants in his/her section of the hotel on a daily basis
    • Check appearance of all employees to ensure compliance with Fairmont standards of appearance
    • Submit maintenance reports/requests to Royal Service
    • Confer with front office regarding information about discrepant rooms via phone or in person
    • Physically checks discrepant rooms to ascertain status
    • Inspect room attendants' carts/signs board in the morning and the afternoon
    • Builds strong rapport with support departments

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience is an asset
    • Must have PM availability
    • Minimum 2 years' experience in a housekeeping role
    • Proven ability to guide and coach team members
    • Operational knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Leadership, written/verbal communication, coaching and interpersonal skills
    • Strong guest service orientation
    • Able to balance a variety of conflicting priorities while providing guest service

    Additional Information:

    • Physical Aspects of Position: Constant walking and standing during shift
    • May occasionally exert up to 25 pounds lift, carry, push, or pull objects
