    As an API Design Engineer at Headspace Health, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust APIs that power our Server-Driven UI for Flutter clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between our backend services and mobile/web applications.

    Job Description:

    We are seeking an experienced software engineer who can lead the design and operation of APIs that power our UI components. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of API design principles, experience with TypeScript, and a proven track record of delivering scalable and maintainable backend systems.


    The successful candidate will participate in on-call rotation, collaborate with engineers from other departments, drive team capability through code reviews, mentoring sessions as well as promote SDUI best practices within the organization.


    Key Responsibilities:


    • Design and implement RESTful APIs using TypeScript.

    • Maintain cross-repository interactions & backends performance.

    • Collaborate effectively across multiple repositories such as CI/CD testing tools along side Observability metrics dashboards.
