    Are you determined and you know how to use initiative to develop effective solutions to problems? Maybe you could be our new Quality Engineer responsible for product and process quality for Condensing Units.

    This is a position supporting the System Solutions (Condensing Units) organization in Brazil (Osasco). Daily job is working with manufacturing and Danfoss customers to assure and improve quality. Using your technical expertise and problem-solving experience, you will support existing products and will help sustain high quality in the products. As Quality Engineer you will derive from your wide experience and extensive knowledge to lead the quality processes like root-cause problem solving, SPPAP, project quality and change control within international environment. You will point out the most suitable solutions, provide the best process standards and make sure quality is never compromised.

    Job Responsibilities


    Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Ensure quality of Danfoss finished products – condensing units, heat exchangers and metal sheet line;
  • Involvement in new product development projects;
  • Facilitate customer and internal claim handling process;
  • Leading root-cause problem solving analysis within interdisciplinary team;
  • Support Sales and Application Engineers in improving customer experience;
  • Driving continuous quality improvements at the manufacturing to ensure stable output;
  • Ensuring quality systems and standards are in place and make sure they are followed;
  • Verifying product and production process development results with Danfoss part approval requirements (SPPAP);
  • Following up on corrective and preventive actions from audits, report of non-conformity cost, status 8D;
  • Controlling of documents/records as well as managing and participating in global quality improvement projects;
  • Being part of Global Quality Team with colleagues from other countries;

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering (preferably manufacturing)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working within the manufacturing industry in a quality role
  • Experience with HVAC is preferred: condensing units, compressors, heat exchangers etc.
  • Knowledge of 8D methodology, APQP and Quality Core Tools
  • Systematic and structured when approaching an issue to solve (uses 8D methodology, FTA, FMEA etc.)
  • Experience with performing internal and supplier audits; IATF or ISO 9001 auditor is a plus
  • Project management skills
  • Fluent verbal and written English - any another language is advantageous
  • Willingness to travel, when required – local and international
