    Machine Learning Engineer

    About the Team:

    Digital Transformation is all about Data Transformation and K2 is no different. Our Global Data Solutions team works fully remote and is formed by associates with diverse backgrounds and skills but share a common mindset for analysis and problem-solving and strong work ethic of getting things done We are at the forefront of key initiatives to provide insights through analytics tools and automation via custom Machine Learning solutions that look to enhance day to day operations to a 10X level of efficiency.

    As part of an established IT team, the Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing self-running software to automate predictive models which aim to use its results to carry on future operations with an incremented amount of accuracy.

    We are looking for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join us. The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis, implementation and automation of key business processes.

    Responsibilities

  • Understand business requirements and objectives;
  • Apply automation process concepts, from functionality to design to build and test automated processes;
  • Design and provision a cloud solution architecture, considering reliability, scalability and security compliance;
  • Develop, debug and deploy a recommendation system trained over textual data;
  • Build, test, deploy and performance monitor ML powered applications;
  • Use data to answer questions from business experts;
  • Requirements & Skills

  • Python development, beyond jupyter notebook, including module development;
  • Background in machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras;
  • Linux proficiency or equivalent cloud computing experience;
  • SQL, Pandas, data wrangling and extraction;
  • Experience deploying models;
  • STEM Bachelor (Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, etc.);
  • Experience implementing APIs with FastAPI or equivalent;
  • Contact with MLFlow or equivalent;
  • Adept at technology integration and quickly gaining exposure to new platforms;
  • Experience working in an Agile environment (Jira) and GIT (Bitbucket);
  • Experience working with LLM's.
  • Desired Skills

  • Experience with GCP products, specially Cloud run and BigQuery;
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM systems;
  • Kedro framework for pipeline orchestration;
  • Apache Airflow for data pipeline/ETL;
  • OpenAI;
  • Familiarity with NLP libraries such as NLTK, SpaCY and Gensim.
