Macher Tecnologia is recruiting one Senior Front-end developers to support one of its clients developing software technologies for the transportation industry.

As the work will be performed globally, English (business / fluent) is a must-have.

The selected professional will join us at our Rio de Janeiro office, on a remote setting, at Caxias do Sul or at Porto Alegre.

Only candidates from these locations will be considered.

As a Senior frontend Engineer, you'll be a key contributor to our client's user-facing Mobile Videoapplications for Transit and ensuring seamless and delighlul experiences for our users.

Yourexpertise in front-end technologies will drive innovaJon and elevate the product interfaces.


Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and develop responsive and performant web applications.
• Collaborate closely with designers and backend engineers to implement user interfaces.
• Optimize application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Mentor junior front-end engineers and contribute to their growth.
• Stay up to date with the latest front-end trends and best practices

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent.

Experience: 3+ years of professional front-end development experience.

• JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.
• Frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or
• Responsive design and mobile-first development.
• RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
• UI/UX design principles.
• State management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).
• Unit testing and test-driven development.
• Frontend performance profiling and optimization.
• Strong problem-solving and communicaJon skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) and service workers.
• Internationalization (i18n) and accessibility (a11y) best practices.
• GraphQL or other API query languages.
