- Develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
- Analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.
- Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
- Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
- Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
- Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
- This position will require occasional national and/or international travel.
- Must have existing rights to work in Brazil
- Must have a degree in Engineering
- Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA)
- Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language
- Professional experience in aviation
- Experience with Avionics Architecture
- Experience with Part 25 TC and STC processes
- Experience with TSO process
- Experience with qualification testing activities

Qualifications:Boeing Brazil is seeking a Mid-Career Avionics Modifications Engineer , reporting to the Avionics Manager, working out of the Sao Jose Dos Campos office.
The Mid-Career Avionics Modifications Engineer will work with the Boeing Global Services Avionics team to support the development and certification of modifications on transport category airplanes.
Position Responsibilities:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
