About the Role

• We are seeking an experienced engineer to contribute to our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of FreeBSD and its ecosystem.
• This role involves developing and improving various components of the FreeBSD PMC framework, including hwmon, libpmc, and pmcstat.
• The successful applicant will work closely with the upstream FreeBSD community to integrate changes into mainline FreeBSD.


• Closely collaborate with other engineers in identifying performance monitoring issues within the kernel and implementing solutions to mitigate these problems.


• Develop expertise in supporting performance monitoring tools for modern AMD hardware from Zen era onwards.
