International Opportunity Position is based in Dubai

The Head of Procurement will be responsible for developing a strategic approach to the corporate procurement and material management process for the purchase of direct and indirect goods and services.

Key responsibilities:
Lead operations that build value driven vendor partnerships focusing on risk management, reliability, and cost effectivenessManage current sourcing & procurement policies, procedures and programs with a focus on their ability to enhance organizational value and efficiencyImplement structured negotiation processes that facilitate supplying negotiations and contractingDevelop and communicate a Sourcing & Procurement business planExecute strategic sourcing, drive value chain cost optimization and manage the product development lifecycle for the product linesExplore and obtains new sources, methods and vendors to ensure a reliable supply of materialsPartner up with the internal stakeholders – mostly manufacturing entities – to facilitate effective sourcing and procurement deliverablesManage the relationship and master distribution contract with key international brands/partnersDevelop a centralized procurement program that will add value and efficiency to the organizationCoordinate and facilitate the sourcing and procurement deliverables of the manufacturing plants for needs of raw/packaging materialsCoordinate with internal stakeholders to define material, quality and service requirements and standards develops vendor partnershipsDrive data driven KPIs focusing on Spend analytics and Cost avoidance measures ensuring Spend under contract as a targetMarket intelligence, frequent market analysis and benchmarking to anticipate price fluctuationsOversee contract development and administration of international brand distribution contracts as well as develop and establish contract manufacturing solutions for our private label products

Key requirements:
Willing and able to relocate to DubaiBachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics or related field10+ years of procurement related experience with 5+ years in a large consumer goods organization with solid exposure to reputable large scale international brands5+ years of people management experienceProven experience with building strategic vendor programsResults-oriented, metrics-driven leader with expertise in strategic sourcing, managing partnership agreements, risk management, spent analysis and value creationSolid analytical and computer skillsStrong communication skillsOutstanding team building and leadership skills
