Technical Knowledge and Skill Requirements

Work with business and technical teams to provide technical support and development expertise for Energy Trading and Risk Management (Endur Openlink) and internal application (C#, .net) to support trading upstream business, using MS SQL, Open JVS, Core Java, Java script, .net, C#, and/or Open Components , Microsoft Azure (Cloud),

• understanding of applications integration and relational databases
• in requirements gathering, technical design, scoping, and planning
• with Endur support with hands-on experience in Open JVS or Open Components
• to develop and implement maintenance procedures, monitor systems health, gather system statistics, and troubleshoot reported errors and alarms
• to effectively troubleshoot complex issues, support and break fix of existing trading application, including application servers, associated infrastructure, endpoints, and databases
• write complex queries involving multiple tables, self joins, inner and outer joins, inner queries, group by functions, etc.
• write advanced plugins for extracting data from the database, custom simulations, operations scripts, manipulation of instruments and transactions in memory, and inserting them in the database
• understand the Endur Architecture and devise ways to optimize its strengths for the client solution.
• understanding of the ETRM/CTRM domain
• in Applications Development, support and Design
• emerging technologies

Non-Technical Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• Fluent English (written / spoken) given the global nature of the team and customer base.
• Familiarity with Commodity trading and Risk Management business processes is a big differentiator (Deal / Trade capture, financial derivatives and hedging, Position Management, Priced Inventory management, Risk Reporting, Commercial Margin / Value Creation Measurement, Exposure reporting, Scheduling, Settlement, etc.)
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with working on Agile teams is appreciated.
