    To drive its growth, G Mining seeks a dynamic and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join its team.

    Job Summary

    The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Mechanical Engineering Chief and be part of the construction management and project development team. Key responsibilities include:

    • Preparation of engineering files, models, drawings, sketches, plans, and specifications for the mechanical department.
    • Development of cost and time estimates, design reports, and specifications for machinery, equipment, and systems.
    • Conducting cost-effectiveness/feasibility studies.
    • Planning and preparing schedules and milestones, as well as monitoring progress.
    • Supervision of resources assigned to administration, management, and monitoring of the department.
    • Participation in the development of the schedule and ensuring compliance with contractual schedules, with corrective measures and plans as necessary.
    • Validation and submission of budget estimates.
    • Support for contract preparation and negotiation of revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
    • Membership in good standing with the Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agricultura (CREA).
    • Proficiency in English communication.
    • Familiarity with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
    • Experience in the mining sector is an asset.

    Abilities

    • Strong analytical, synthesis, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Good sense of organization and autonomy.

    Additional Information

    • The position will be based at the G Mining Services office in Belo Horizonte.
    • Possibility of traveling abroad and in Brazil depending on the candidate's availability.
