    Purpose

    This role works across the logistics teams and ensures efficient and effective material flows to meet the business objectives.

    Key Missions

  • Manages or performs work associated with two or more of the following: Warehouse and Shipping / Despatch Operations (Warehouse, Warehouse Shipping and Receiving, Vault Issuance and Containment, Despatch, Materials Handling, etc.), Transportation and Customs Management and Procurement
  • Ensures all work conforms to Security Standards, Operational Systems and Procedures and Regulations
  • Ensures that production activities (Manufacturing/Service Centre) are appropriately supplied with materials in order to complete work effectively and within required service-level agreements through self-delivery or management of the activity of the functions
  • Aims to be the champion in all areas for Health and Safety to ensure a safe working environment
  • Holds experience and knowledge with standard concepts, practices and procedures within two or more of the relevant fields
  • Relies on instructions, pre-established guidelines or on limited experience and judgement to plan and accomplish the functions and goals of the job
  • Receives, unpacks, checks, and stores merchandise or materials
  • Fills requisitions and orders
  • Packs, crates, ships or transports products and materials
  • Maintains maximum or minimum stock levels for specific materials
  • Monitors order tracking system and equipment usage
  • Processes eventually documentation under supervision, including preparing paper work for inbound or outbound shipments, and reviewing shipment documents, invoices, and packing lists, as well as maintaining inventory of shipping supplies
  • Works under general supervision
  • Reports typically to a supervisor or manager
