    The Sr Firmware Engineer analyzes, designs, programs, debugs andmodifiessoftware. Troubleshoots code for firmware (IC embeddedcode) applications. Workofteninvolvesanalogand digital hardware and software operating systems. Position requires knowledgeandexposureto hardware design. Typically,programs in machinelanguage, assemblylanguageand high-levellanguages (, C, C++).

    Responsibilitieswill include:

  • Develop applications and drivers for embedded firmware
  • Proposeandimplementtest-drivendevelopmentandcontinuousintegrationmethodologies for hardware-based systems
  • Design thearchitectureofembedded systems andcontributetothedefinitionofthe use ofmulti-tasking real-time operating systems
  • Contribute to the elaboration of requirements and specifications for R&D projects with applications in spectroscopy and x-ray systems

    • Skill requirements:

  • Bachelor's in electrical engineering,computerscience or related field
  • Experience in firmware development for embedded systems
  • AdvancedEnglishismandatory
  • Experience with programming languages: C/C++, Python
  • ExperiencewithEmbedded Linuxand/or RTOSdevelopment
  • Knowledgeon ARMmicrocontrollersplatforms
  • Experience withunittesting frameworks
