    The Finance Operations team at Amazon plays a crucial role in managing procure-to-pay, revenue-to-receipt, real estate and facilities, operations accounting, and operations excellence services with top-notch controllership at minimal cost.

    This position is a vital part of the Finance Operations Business Partnership (BP) team, supporting Amazon's Brazil Stores business. You will work alongside a team of high-performing operations excellence and finance professionals to lead initiatives that enhance data quality and accuracy for supplier payments and customer collections.

    In this dynamic role, you will excel in a fast-paced environment focused on continual improvement, collaborating closely with Store and Store Finance teams, Tax, Accounting, and Service Center.

    To excel, you should have a strong drive for solving complex problems, setting high standards, engaging deeply with diverse partners, and building trust through factual insights. Additionally, effective communication skills and the ability to work with various stakeholders globally are essential.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate across functions to identify process, technical, and human interface opportunities, develop plans to capitalize on them, and measure success.
    • Drive improvements in cash flow, margin, and productivity in and out of Finance Operations.
    • Communicate effectively with business partners, providing financial analysis and insights to manage change impacts proactively.
    • Handle vendor, process, and system escalations for effective issue resolution and improved customer experience.
    • Identify and address financial and operational risks and opportunities, leading ad-hoc projects as needed.
    • Maintain strong engagement with Finance Operations Service Centers and business partners to ensure process excellence.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Experience in tax, finance, or related analytical fields.
    • Proficiency in Excel, including pivots and lookups.
    • Experience in Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable.
    • Proficiency in utilizing key financial performance indicators for analysis.
    • Experience in creating financial and operational reports to drive business decisions.
    • Experience in process improvements through automation and analysis.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Participation in continuous improvement projects to enhance controllership with measurable outcomes.
    • Ability to identify and address incomplete or inaccurate data with a structured escalation plan.
    • Experience engaging with senior staff members.
    • MBA or CPA qualification.
    • Proficiency in large-scale data mining and reporting tools such as SQL, MSAccess, Essbase, or Cognos.
