    The Market Development Manager will play a pivotal role in our success, serving as the primary technical liaison between product development, sales, and our valued growers.


    Activities and Responsibilities:
    Develop and maintain relationships with Pivot Bio growers to ensure successful adoption and utilization of our products.
    Regularly integrate emerging technology tools to demonstrate the efficacy of our products in replacing synthetic nitrogen on growers' fields.
    Collaborate with the commercial team to provide product knowledge and training to employees, sales representatives, and customers.
    Plan, troubleshoot, and evaluate product performance in customers' fields using precision software.
    Apply strong knowledge of soil biome and biological processes driven by microorganisms to optimize product performance.
    Utilize practical expertise in chemical applications, data capture/entry, and nitrogen management.
    Lead agronomic troubleshooting to address any customer challenges with our products.
    Partner with Product Development to characterize and showcase the advantages of new products.
    Incorporate technology tools and systems (e.g., remote sensing, aerial imagery) to interpret results and enhance customer engagement.
    Engage in customer field days, meetings, and company events to present technical information effectively.
    Develop and maintain trusted relationships with customers to enhance product knowledge and stewardship.


    Required Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Agronomy or related field, plus two to four years of customer-facing experience on farms.

    Strong background in agronomy or related field with expertise in agricultural products, including plant nutrition, biologicals, and crop protection chemicals.

    Strong fertilizer and fertility knowledge encompassing products, applications, practices, and crop requirements.
    Fluency in understanding and educating on nitrogen and nitrogen management.
    Practical experience with chemical applications and data management.
    Ability to troubleshoot agronomic issues and collaborate with teams to resolve challenges.
    Utilization of technology tools to enhance product demonstrations and customer interactions.
    Effective engagement in customer-facing activities to build relationships and foster product knowledge.
    Establish and maintain relationships with customers to strengthen product adoption and loyalty.


    Travel requirement:
    60% to visit customers and attend industry events.
    Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
