Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough manual tests to ensure software quality and functionality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write and execute test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, and potential problems.
• Document, track, and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Job Requirements:

• 4+ years of relevant experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Deep understanding of manual testing methodologies and techniques, especially in a tech startup environment.
• Experience in testing payment systems like Stripe, ensuring transaction integrity, security, and compliance.
• Proficiency in verifying data in a PostgreSQL database and understanding its structure.
• Basic understanding of SQL language to execute queries and validate data.
• Ability to identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software program functions, outputs, online screens, and content.
• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to identify subtle issues in complex applications.
• Work closely with software developers, product managers, and other QA team members in an agile environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for documenting test cases and reporting bugs.
• Eagerness to keep up with new testing tools and strategies relevant to the industry.
