    Job Description
    • Manage all technical aspects of the Propulsion System Reliability staff to identify OBD diagnostic, driveability and emissions issues in enough detail to determine if the root cause is hardware, software or calibration related.
    • The vehicle fleets are supported – System Reliability (QRG/HMSR/336), Durability, EBR, OBD and Fast Feedback fleets.
    • Work with Propulsion System Reliability Manager to define and communicate team objectives / processes to ensure consistency across the group to meet corporate and department goals.
    • Provide technical mentoring to meet desired level of performance. Lead local Propulsion System Reliability team meetings.
    • Publish weekly Propulsion System Reliability corecard status and provide feedback of reported discrepancies within the team.
    • Provide technical leadership and develop/ensure processes are in place for all team members to follow.
    • Provide Propulsion System Reliability status updates to management through the Issue Status spreadsheets, IUMPR reports, stall reports and propulsion system quality scorecard updates.
    • Manage Propulsion System Reliability delivery of OBD robustness metrics, via requirement gathering from CoE's, VDR config capability and AHR delivery and acceptance by the calibration community
    • Ensure fleet propulsion system module updates are posted in a timely manner (cals, s/w, PCR's)
    • Allocate Propulsion System Reliability manpower resources to balance fleet based workload and develop PSR team personnel.
    • Interface with CoE, QRE and Telediagnostic teams as req'd to resolve data collection issues
    • Lead the local Stellantis – Aptiv technical interface to track open JIRA's and Qualifier issues, review on a weekly basis
    • Train and mentor new Propulsion System Reliability engineering staff
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics
    • Understanding of gasoline engine efficiency, performance, and emissions
    • Understanding of OBD and Safety diagnostics and DTCs
    Additional Information
    • Knowledge of statistics and statistical methods.
    • Knowledge of software and equipment for engine calibration, MATLAB, measurement and analysis (Inca-Etas / Horiba).
    • Experience with Matlab scripting and other useful data processing languages/tool sets ex: Python, JavaScript/NodeJS, etc.
