JOB OVERVIEW
Plan A Technologies is looking for a

Senior DevOps Engineer

to work with one of our global technology clients on automating the delivery processes of their cutting edge products

Please note:

you must have at least 6+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with Azure experience to be considered for this job.

JOB RESPONSIBILITYStrive for continuous improvement in efficiency and governance of workflows.
Design and develop tooling that will drive the efficiencies in workflows.
Work closely with requirements engineers to estimate quality products.
Promote high quality and timely completion of projects.
Work with onsite and remote teams.
Provide technical solutions to complex problems and write technical documents.
Deliver top-quality feature-rich software on time on budget.
Responsible for 24/7 support of solutions in specialized or disaster situations.

EXPERIENCEStrong experience coding in scripting languages (Bash, Python, Groovy, etc.)Azure cloud expertiseExperience with Azure DevOpsExperience with build and packaging tools (ant, maven, gulp, etc.)Experience with build automation tools such as Jenkins with ability to develop DSL pipelinesExperience setting up landing zones with multiple accounts/subscriptionsExperience with CI/CD concepts and tools.

Solid experience with version control systems (strongly preferred GIT)Familiarity and experience with production deployment and troubleshootingMust be able to pass a security investigationGood communications skills and solid EnglishStrong understanding of Docker/Kubernetes developmentStrong understanding of at least one or more configuration/provisioning tools (Ansible, Puppet)Strong understanding of Linux advanced administration.

Terraform knowledge.
Excellent organizational, communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills and ability to write clear technical documentation.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, while adhering to project deadlines.
