Who You Are

• Proven track record in IT Consulting or IT Management Consulting with a global or regional consulting firm, demonstrating success in delivery and business development
• Recognized internally and externally as a Consult leader in various specialization areas. Proficiency in developing and delivering Modern IT Strategies, OpModels, Complex Digital Transformations, and Business/Financial value realization engagements
• Establishes credibility as a subject matter expert, showcasing expertise externally with clients, through speaking engagements, publications, industry forums, and blogs
• Experience or willingness to enhance Kyndryl's intellectual property assets by expanding existing Consult offerings, developing new offers, and refining consulting methods and tools
• Adept at operating in a newly forming business unit, willing to roll up sleeves and contribute in an entrepreneurial manner to lead and deliver client outcomes

Consulting Business Development Domain:

• Demonstrates proficiency in creating, nurturing, and closing deals to achieve annual signing targets on specific accounts, sectors, or geographies
• Leads or participates in complex sales efforts, seeking appropriate assistance as needed, and positively impacting sales closure
• Able to drive smaller sales initiatives, closing deals post initial identification with minimal supervision
• Participates in sales cycles involving multiple offering solutions and global resourcing components

Consulting Engagement Delivery Domain:

• Builds consultant teams tailored to engagement requirements and leads consulting projects
• Ensures team and personal billable and chargeable utilization as per business needs
• Plays a leading role in resolving critical issues related to contract, client, solution, technical, or political matters crucial to delivery
• Delivers complex projects and fixed-price components involving global, local, and subcontractor employees and product development challenges
• Actively seeks support in challenging delivery situations, involving the right SMEs as necessary
• Establishes confidence, trust, and credibility with clients, nurturing enduring relationships as evidenced by NPS scores or client success stories

Consulting People & Team Leadership Domain:

• Adopts a Player/Coach model to mentor fellow team members while meeting individual targets
• Serves as a role model beyond project teams, wielding significant influence
• Collaborates effectively across Consult service areas, functions, or entities, fostering a positive employee experience and an improved environment

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Productivity skills: Proficient in Powerpoint, Word & Excel to convey messages and deliverables through modern consulting techniques. Capable of creating content for proposals, SOW, and deliverables, and ensuring compliance with consult management systems
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders. Experienced in managing communication at various levels, including C-level interactions
• Work with Empathy: Leads and engages with client and internal teams with empathy, understanding multiple perspectives to reach resolutions amicably. Thrives in complex business and client environments
• Leadership: Demonstrates a proactive approach with client and Kyndryl outcomes at the forefront. Ability to mentor and create an environment of professional excellence and choice for peers and team members
• Execution: Possesses critical thinking skills to analyze data objectively, provide strategic recommendations, and remain committed to deliverables. Able to adapt to changes in priorities and manage multiple projects effectively
