We're in search of a skilled and seasoned Magento Engineer to bolster our e-commerce development team. As a pivotal member, you'll be instrumental in crafting and upholding our Magento-based e-commerce solutions, ensuring their resilience, scalability, and alignment with industry best practices.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with diverse teams to grasp and interpret business needs, translating them into robust technical solutions.
• Develop, tailor, and maintain Magento-based e-commerce platforms, encompassing theme integration, module development, and backend enhancements.
• Conduct comprehensive code reviews, ensuring strict adherence to coding standards, best practices, and Magento development protocols.
• Diagnose and resolve technical glitches and bugs within Magento applications.
• Implement and oversee third-party integrations and extensions to enrich e-commerce functionality.
• Fine-tune website performance metrics, including page loading times, responsiveness, and scalability.
• Stay abreast of the latest Magento updates, security patches, and industry best practices, ensuring timely implementation.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers and designers to deliver a seamless and visually captivating user experience.
• Contribute to quality assurance and testing initiatives to preempt and rectify issues prior to deployment.
• Participate in documentation efforts and foster knowledge sharing within the development team.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Demonstrable experience as a Magento Developer or Magento Engineer, backed by a robust portfolio of Magento projects.
• Proficiency in Magento development technologies, encompassing PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Familiarity with Magento best practices, architectural patterns, and design principles.
• Strong problem-solving prowess and analytical acumen.
• Ability to function effectively both independently and within a team, with stellar communication and collaboration abilities.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Prior exposure to marketplace e-commerce is advantageous.
