The ideal candidate will be able to work well with a team in a variety of roles to produce high-quality results.

The candidate will be involved in developing new applications and feature sets for existing applications. This position requires expertise in Android TV/ Jetpack.

The candidate must also possess a good knowledge of mobile development with Java, Java optimizations, debug tools, and profiling operations.

Responsibilities Develop mobile applications/componentsAdhere to documented requirementsRefactor code to improve efficiency, modularity, and maintainabilityAssist in the development of technical documentation such as use cases, technical requirements, and user documentationDocument code with block comments and in-line comments as appropriateAdhere to company coding standardsUpdates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in professional organizationsProtects operations by keeping information confidentialOther duties as assignedRequired Skills & Experience Computer Science or Computer Engineering degreeMinimum of four years experience in Android application developmentAndroid experience (jetpack, android TV)Experience leveraging libraries for Android TVExperience implementing multi-threaded and optimized systemsGood understanding of object-oriented programmingMust be fluent in written and spoken EnglishDesired Skills & Experience Java or Kotlin experience Someone who has supported backend applications
