    About the Job

    Kavak is seeking a detail-oriented and innovative individual to join our Internal and External Communications team as a Specialist, based in São Paulo, Brazil. Reporting to the Global Internal Communications Leader, this role will support our Brazil operations. The primary focus will be on enhancing employee engagement and amplifying Kavak's culture through strategic internal communications. Additionally, the specialist will play a crucial role in safeguarding Kavak's external reputation by overseeing external communication efforts.This individual will work closely with the local General Manager (GM) and his direct leaders to ensure alignment across communication strategies and business objectives.

    Core Job Responsibilities

    • Support the development and execution of local internal communication strategies and narratives that engage Kavak's Brazil-based team.
    • Develop and write the content strategy for Brazil, aligned with Kavak's global and local missions.
    • Support the development and execution of communications for new programs, policies, issues, and campaigns.
    • Build trust and effectively communicate with a range of internal stakeholders.
    • Demonstrate a passion for internal communications, a willingness to take risks, and make agile decisions.
    • Be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get work done, even when it's outside the scope of the job.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in communications or a related field.
    • 3+ years of communications experience, preferably within a multi-national company.
    • Fluency in Portuguese and English, and ability to develop communications in both languages.
    • Based in São Paulo, Brazil

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience supporting internal/external communication programs and delivering results.
    • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
    • Possess a strategic approach to problem-solving; able to anticipate potential reputational issues.
    • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
