    We're looking for a Junior Data Scientist to join and help grow our team in Piracicaba. This is a great opportunity for someone with an agronomy or agricultural background who loves working with data, analytics, and machine learning and wants to develop their skills in a supportive, hands-on environment. Training and development are a key part of this role.

    You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, helping turn agronomic data into insights, dashboards, and predictive solutions that support the agricultural sector. If you're excited about data, agriculture, and developing your career as a Data Scientist, we'd love to hear from you.

    Role responsibilities:

    • Perform data queries and manipulation in relational databases (SQL)
    • Develop, maintain, and optimise dashboards and reports in Power BI
    • Use Machine Learning to analyze data and create models that predict outcomes, to automate routine business or operational tasks
    • Support the development of ETL processes using Python scripts
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the integration of agronomic data systems and products

    What we're looking for:

    • Experience with Power BI
    • Solid knowledge of SQL
    • Understanding of programming logic and data structures
    • Background or previous experience in agronomy or the agricultural sector
    • Genuine interest in data, analytics, and machine learning, with a willingness to learn and grow
    • Professional level verbal and written English

    Nice to have:

    • Experience with Git, dbt, or Databricks
    • Knowledge of dashboard frameworks such as Plotly or R
    • Exposure to machine learning and automation tools
    • Understanding of basic design principles for data visualisation
