Our partner is a quantitative trading organization where live market data, low-latency systems, and proprietary models directly drive capital allocation decisions.

• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering (or equivalent hands-on experience/field)
• Familiarity with production-grade distributed systems for real-time or streaming environments
• Experience developing backend services in Go

We are seeking an experienced Golang engineer to own the real-time streaming ingestion system that powers our trading platform. You will build high-performance services that consume live WebSocket feeds, process and time-slice high-throughput market data, and deliver reliable inputs to a C-based trading engine running on AWS EC2.

1. Create robust Go services for consuming live WebSocket feeds and processing high-throughput market data
2. Design automatic failover from live market feeds to delayed backup streams ensuring seamless transitions and recovery scenarios
3. Maintain the historical data ingestion pipeline sourced from AWS S3
4. Instrument services with monitoring tools such as Prometheus to detect latency spikes, data gaps, system degradationDeploy containerized services within cloud-native environmentsCollaborate directly with technical leadership on architectural decisions
   Operate independently taking full ownership of reliability delivery
