    Overview

    Fairmont Singapore and Swissôtel The Stamford are strategically located in the heart of Singapore's shopping, dining, and entertainment districts. With a total of 2,030 well-appointed guestrooms, both hotels offer a distinct collection of 12 lifestyle and dining choices.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Daily checking of roster to ensure sufficient manpower is available to operate various types of pressing equipment.
    • Coordinate pressing activities to meet production requirements.
    • Act as an Acting Supervisor in the absence of superiors.
    • Prepare pressing machines for operation by ensuring proper working condition and adequate steam supply.
    • Assess material types and press garments using the best-suited equipment.
    • Examine material quality and operate units for ironing collars, cuffs, and bodies of shirts, as well as finishing trousers and T-shirts.
    • Operate hot press and steam press according to material suitability.
    • Inspect finishing quality and sort out garments with missing accessories or stains.

    Requirements

    • Minimum Primary 6 Education
    • Experience preferred but not necessary
    • Able to communicate in basic English
    • Able to read, write, and recognize numbers
    • Good interpersonal skills and rapport with colleagues
    • Attention to detail, especially cleanliness, packing, and folding presentation
    • Ability to work independently, reliably, and self-motivated
