- Analyze tankship safety violations, defects, and ship-related incidents to identify breaches of international maritime organization conventions, marine industry standards, port rules, and regulations.
- Formulate claims with supporting documentation for additional marine assistance services provided beyond contractual obligations.
- Verify budget accounts for the division and maintain a readiness to deputize at international marine conferences.
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies or High National Diploma in Nautical Science/Marine Engineering with Master Mariner (Class I)/Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency.
- 10 years of sea-going experience, including 5 years as a senior officer on a tanker or gas carrier.
- Knowledge of international regulatory body requirements, classification standards, marine/mechanical engineering practices, specifications, and/or rules.
- Monthly Base Salary aligned with company employees with similar skills.
- Monthly Overbase - 25% of monthly base salary.
- Benefits Supplement - 20% of monthly base salary after 3 years of service, increasing to 25% after 6 years and 30% after 12 years.
- Severance Package - 2 weeks' pay per year of service for years 2-5 and 4 weeks' pay per year of service after year 6.
