    Applynow for the position of Head of Government Relations Latin America (LAM)

    Location:This role is required to be located in Brazil

    Your role:

  • Youwill develop and implement government relations and public policy strategy forLatin America, in consultation with other key functions including legal,communications/marketing, reimbursement, business lines, LAM country heads, medicalaffairs, regulatory and others as necessary.
  • Youreport to the Head of Government Relations for the Americas, but be responsiblefor acting as a liaison to business leaders and other internal functions inLAM.
  • You serveas company liaison to, and foster relationships with, key members of government,patient advocacy groups, physician specialty societies and industry groups topromote company interests.
  • You preparepolicy briefings, testimony for pending legislative actions, and providethought leadership and recommendations to influence public policy debate.
  • You ensureappropriate company participation in government forums, patient advocacy, specialtysociety and industry group meetings.
  • You workwith leaders of government and industry to influence public policy, monitorgovernment initiatives, advocate for specific plans to advance the company'sobjectives and guide policy for public tenders.
  • You select,develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of thefunction.
  • Your expertise:

  • Experienceworking in the medical device industry or other life science industry.
  • Experiencenavigating Latin America healthcare system.
  • Experiencein Government Affairs or Public Affairs activities.
  • Demonstratedability to analyze key regulatory and policy issues in light of the company'sstrategic goals and to focus on those issues that advance the company'scompetitive business interests.
  • Experiencein developing partnerships with trade association, industry partners, thinkthanks and patient advocacy groups in order to push an agenda.
  • Recordof achievement and accomplishment.
