    Data Scientist - SQL & Pentaho


    What you'll do

    Your mission as a Data Scientist - SQL & Pentaho will be:



    Key Responsibilities:

    ·Data Engineer to support & maintain - multiple Pentaho Servers across different business units:

    oLevel#1 (follow Run Book and restart the job in case of failure)

    oLevel#2 (troubleshoot based on run book, provide a fix/solution to the failure & escalate to Level#3) support for 100+ jobs.

    oPentaho Data Integration Tool.

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree: Computer's Science/IT
  • Language Level: Advanced English
  • Background on PostgreSQL or any relational database - Basic & Advanced SQL's
  • Knowledge of Pentaho Data Integration Tool Or any ETL/ELT tool like Talend, Informatica, DataStage
  • Experience in Vertica DB or any columnar Databases.
  • Experience working closely with teams outside of IT (ie. Business Intelligence, Finance, Marketing, Sales)
  • Strong communication and documentation skill is absolutely required for this role as you will be working directly with both IT and non-technical groups.
  • Self-motivated, willingness to learn new technologies and business and willing to take initiative beyond basic responsibilities.

    • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the reporting platforms such as Tableau or any Data Visualization Tools
  • Experience on GCP/Big Query
  • Experience in Apache Airflow or at least in-depth understanding on how Airflow works.
