- Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
- Research and interpret engineering data including drawing specs, CATIA/CAD models, Installation plans and various maintenance procedures to develop systems requirements
- Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
- Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
- Must have a degree in Engineering.
- Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.
- Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
- Experience working in a professional environment.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer Engineering.
- Relevant experience within Electrical Systems hardware and software design.
- Experience with system design and integration during an airplane development program.
- Experience with equipment design, specification and tests, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g. RTCA DO-160).
- Experience in Electrical design; including but not limited to Electrical Systems design, Wire Design, Electrical Equipment Installation and Wire Installation Design.
- Experience with project management skills within a fast paced highly integrated environment
- Experience working with cross functional teams.

Qualifications:Boeing Brazil is seeking a Senior Cabin Electronic System Engineer, reporting to the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Manager, working out of the Sao Jose Dos Campos office.
The Senior Cabin Electronic System Engineer will join the team to defining and integrating airplane electrical systems across our commercial fleet.
This position will be assigned to work with Cabin Systems Team which includes In Flight Entertainment, Cabin Services System, Cameras and Sensors, interior lighting, passenger address systems, seat back video and more.
All projects center on the translation of concepts and high-level requirements to specific architectures and operational specifications including the physical integration of electrical systems and components into our complex airplanes. Work with a worldwide supplier base to implement system hardware and software. Validate designs through both laboratory and airplane testing. Work with aircraft systems from initial concept through certification, delivery, and through their production life. We are continually evolving the state of the art in commercial air transport.
Position Responsibilities:
This position is hybrid/telecommuting. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.
