We offer a wide range of currency services and products, like our Currency Converter, Market Analysis, Currency Data API, and fast, secure Money Transfers for individuals and businesses. We use technology to provide these services through our website, mobile apps, and by phone. Last year, we helped nearly 300 million people get info about the currencies that matter to them, and over 150,000 people used our services to send money abroad. Many businesses relied on us for currency market info, foreign exchange risk management advice, and international payments. At XE, we believe that every currency exchange or transaction involves someone trying to achieve something important, so we're always developing new, customer-focused currency services. We're part of Euronet Worldwide (Nasdaq: EEFT), a global leader in secure electronic financial transactions. Under Euronet, we've merged our key brands - XE, HiFX, and Currency Online - to create the business XE is today.

    XE is looking for a QA Analyst to join our team working on exciting products like our corporate money transfer web app and mobile app using the latest technologies. Reporting to the Director of Software Engineering, the QA Analyst will test project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, as well as help automate tests.

    The QA Analyst in this role should have a keen interest in manual testing and automation. Backend API tests are automated, and the QA Analyst will help maintain them while focusing on manually testing the new features added to XE products.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with teams internally to identify and resolve test issues
    • Take part in process reviews to enhance product development and resolve defects
    • Create and prioritize test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures
    • Understand and apply testing and debugging methods
    • Analyze, interpret, and communicate test results effectively
    • Experience with various testing levels (smoke, functional, system integration, performance, regression, and user acceptance)
    • Document test results and issues in suitable tools (Jira, Xray)

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 3 years of manual testing experience (Web application)
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a Quality Assurance diploma from a recognized institution
    • Ability to articulate and address issues accurately
    • Aptitude to grasp new system functionalities and work independently on them
    • Skill in scripting with a programming language (JavaScript)
    • Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g., GitHub)
    • Web automation (Cypress, Cucumber), API automation (Postman)
    • Performance testing knowledge
    • Familiarity with a JavaScript framework and .Net
    • Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services
    • Prior exposure to the finance industry
    • Development background would be a plus
    • Proficiency in SQL databases and basic queries
    • Understanding of Agile delivery models
